The Hans Sloane. A Sophisticated Suite for The Discerning Traveller

This room features an emperor size bed, four-seater table where you can enjoy watching the world go by out of enormous bay windows.

Hans Sloane was from Comber nearby and studied as a physician in London. His worldwide explorations led him to invent the recipe for Cadbury’s Chocolate and collect his famous artifacts which were the foundation of the Natural History Museum and British Museum. This room is London themed as Sloane Square in London is named after him

The Bronte, A Romantic Suite for Couples

This room has a full four-poster bed, and freestanding bath, ornate cornicing, exquisite chandelier and treetop view feels like the ultimate in luxury. There is a Card table and a bookcase of works by the Bronte sisters to read, relax and unwind.

The father of the Brontes, Patrick came from nearby Co Down where he was a school teacher and clergyman. He then moved to England where he married and had his four children

The Ruby Murray, a Suite for Music Lovers

This room features a stunning, black four-poster bed without a canopy. Ruby Murray was a very famous singer who lived locally and had huge chart success in the 1950s. She had 5 hits in the top 20 at once which The Beatles, the Rolling Stones and Elvis never achieved. No wonder Belfast is the UNESCO city of music.

The Yeats, a Suite for lovers of poetry and art

Up among the trees, this room is inspired by WB Yeats poetry. Soft blues and florals make this a truly relaxing hideaway from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The free-standing bath looks out onto the treetops of the Malone Road. Read the works of Yeats while relaxing in the tub. The Gloss Magazine voted this the most Bridgerton Inspired room of the Harrison. Enjoy breakfast in bed while reading about the talented artists and writers of the Yeats Family. the Antique bed dates from the 1850s.

The John Hewitt, a Suite for Creatives with a room with a view

John Hewitt, the famous poet, art historian and political activist, moved into 45 Malone Road (the site of Harrison) with his wife Roberta when they married. The bust of Hewitt was made by local artist Ant Brennan. It looks out onto the Malone Road where the poet lived and worked both at Queens University and as artistic director of The Ulster Museum. The mural by John Luke his great friend and contemporary shows Edenderry Mill showing local linen production at the Laganmeadows a short walk from the Harrison. Stunning views over the Fisherwick church add to the atmosphere of this suite.
