Meet the Performers
The evening will showcase the extraordinary talent of Mezzo Soprano Jenny Bourke, a familiar name to followers of Northern Ireland Opera. Jenny has spent the last three years as an Associate Artist with NI Opera and has performed standout roles such as Filipevna in Eugene Onegin and the Stepmother in The Juniper Tree. Her work spans mezzo opera concerts, chamber performances, and NI Opera’s beloved Salon Series and Morning Melodies events.
Joining her is rising star Laura Shaw, a vocalist and drama graduate from the University of Exeter with first-class honours. A past vocal studies pupil of Jenny Bourke, Laura brings a fresh and vibrant energy to the Belfast music scene.
Accompanying both singers is the acclaimed collaborative pianist Tristan Russcher. His impressive career includes performances with the Irish National Opera, Lyric Opera, Ulster Orchestra, and RTÉ Concert Orchestra, making him one of Ireland’s most respected pianists.
