Gallivanter Rooms - King Rooms for Arty and Fun Loving Guests

The Gallivanters are full of character for those who love something a bit off the wall. Vivid wallpapers, crazy sinks and king beds, these rooms are full of fun. Bathrooms are more extensive here than other rooms.

We have retained the individual character of our aristocrat rooms but these rooms are more intimate with a double instead of a King Bed. Still the same care is taken with beautiful design and curated pieces. Features in the room include original ornate cornicing, antique furniture, and spacious rain showers. This room is close to the lift for those with mobility issues.

Conor Room. A fashionable and Funky Interior.

Get your shades on before entering this whacky wallpapered room. Full of fun. I mean, what is not to love about parrots with crowns, sloths with monocles and animals with pocket watches? This room is very private at the back of the house, accessible by lift.

William Connor was a famous artist with his studio opposite the Ulster Museum. He painted scenes all around Belfast and has a statue on Connor’s Corner on the Shankhill road. Fabulous sink and powerful showers ensures a comfortable stay in this quiet room looking towards the Belfast Hills

Beckett Room. A Haven for romantic couples

A very romantic Corbeille french bed sets the mood for the Beckett room. This room has a balcony and a bigger bathroom than most other rooms. Feminine and romantic wallpaper sets the tone for a warm and comfortable stay. A leatherbound desk with tea and coffee making facilities makes it ideal for business travellers

Samuel Beckett taught in Campbell college Belfast and attended Portora School on Co Fermanagh.

The Van Morrison for concert going music lovers

The decor is a nod to the seventies when Van started out with “Them” and then launched his solo career. There is a gorgeous brass king bed, patio door, glass waterfall sink, and rain shower in a larger bathroom.

There is a balcony for an airy feel and a writing desk for working at for our business travellers. Fans of Van Morrison can read about Van’s Belfast from books in the room by local authors.

The Lavery for those who love eclectic interiors

The Lavery room is named after the famous Irish Painter John Lavery and features an antique superking bed and a larger bathroom with bespoke glass waterfall sink and rainforest shower.

This one of our quietest rooms and the bed in huge. It really makes for a very relaxing stay among the works of John Lavery on the wall and art books to read on the desk.
